One Semester in Ceramics

I am almost done with ceramics class this school year. It has been by one of the my favorite classes that I have taken throughout  high school. Ceramics has also been the ONLY class I look forward to, so it's very fun! I loved everything about that class... I loved the people, the feel of freshly cut clay, all the effort put into every project, and being able to turn a sketch into something real! Hopefully I get another chance to take another ceramics class in the near future because I love it so much. I will also miss my teacher who will be moving to the bay area over the summer she was the coolest most down-to-earth teacher I have ever had in high school so I wish her the best of luck in her new school.

Last Day of School Countdown: 6
Birthday Countdown: 6
Here is mostly everything I have done this semester in ceramics.
My first pinch pot lol (I love looking back at this project to see how much I have gotten better)
My second project which was a ceramic stamp to stamp into other projects.
My coil pot. I actually enjoyed coiling even though it was a lot of work.
This is a snail inspired by my friend Brenda and is appropiatly named "Sassy"
I coiled the shell of this creature and formed everything else. This took two weeks just to make and I put in so much work. I was biting my nails the days it was fired in hoped that it survived the kiln.
My scraffito pot (coiled) and I scratched in the designs my self.

I finally earned a chance on to the throwing wheel and made this little thing. I prefer coiling but the wheel makes life so much more easier
