Life goes by.

It feels like forever since I posted something worth reading. So it is about time I get back on track with posting on this blog.

I visited Santa Monica and seeing all the dinosaurs made me feel at home :)

 Ojai Farmers Market was nice.
Finals week back in January were not as stressful as I anticipated. I studied here and there but not like all the other AP students cramming in every little bit of information. I just skimmed the surface of things and managed to pass every class with the grade I wanted.

Now it is February and things are different. It is now the second semester of Junior Year. I am not in computer class anymore and I miss it dearly for the chillness of the class and probably the coolest teacher I ever had. Now I am in ceramics class and I love every second of it. I was even lucky to get the class because there is a waiting list of 103 students who want it also. So far all I have made was a simple pinch pot which is drying right now as I type. I am praying that it doesn't explode. Pretty much all my classes are the same.

I am 3 weeks from my first Track meet. Scary right. I am also a bit injured thanks to Jump practice. I have a mild case of shin splints but I am a trooper and still practice no matter what (it still hurts though)!  Practices have been mellow jello so far (until the season starts) and I am getting nervous.

This was a quick little update. More to come soon!!

Today is also Chinese New Year :D

Thank you Lincoln and Happy Birthday. Thanks to you I can sleep in tomorrow morning :)

  1. I took ceramics in college and then again after I graduated for fun at the local community college. I loved it! So much fun. Have you made anything cool yet?

    1. So far I have made a pinch pot and a stamp which are both being fired in the kiln right now and I'll be glazing it next week, and my current project is a coil pot. I love the class and its very mellow and chill atmosphere.
